In the wake of recent incidences of violence and protests outside hotels housing people seeking asylum, we’ve developed some guidance to help teachers broach this subject with students.

Outlining key facts and figures, this guidance aims to empower teachers to feel confident and prepared to discuss this issue with students, combatting widespread misinformation and encouraging compassion and empathy.

This guidance has been developed in consultation with education practitioners in areas that have recently seen incidences of violence.
